Nick Griego, 75, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away on January 18, 2022 at Great Plains Health Hospital.
He was born on February 2, 1946 to Juan Antonio Griego and Brigida Griego of Manzano, New Mexico. He grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to California as a young man.
He was united in marriage to Pamela K. Espinoza on January 13, 1968 at All Saints Catholic Church, El Sereno, California.
He enjoyed his retirement after truck driving. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends, roasting his New Mexico Hatch chiles, cooking, gardening, loved fishing, drawing, painting and creating inventions to make his life easier.
He is survived by his daughters Patricia Trujillo, Jeannette Towse, Cassandra Donovan, his grandchildren Jessica Rivas, William Trujillo, Nicholas Trujillo, Lori Rivas, Ryan Swift, Patrick Trujillo, Madeleine Trujillo, Bailey Towse, Bradley Towse.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Polito Griego and Leopold Griego and his sisters Dora Griego and Oralia Candelaria, his parents Juan Antonio Griego and Brigida Griego, and his grandparents Juan Antonio Griego and Brigida Sanchez, Francisco de Borja Sanchez and Maria Arguello.

Pamela Kathleen Griego, 72, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away on January 30, 2022 at Great Plains Health Hospital.
She was born on August 8, 1949 to David and Alice Espinoza of El Paso Texas. She grew up in Los Angeles, California.
She was united in marriage to Nick Griego on January 13, 1968 at All Saints Catholic Church, El Sereno, California.
She enjoyed her retirement after co-owning Candy's Cupcakery. Her daily walks, spending time with her husband, family and friends, enjoying her garden, reading and discovering new places in Nebraska gave her happiness.
She is survived by her sister Corrine Pichardo, her daughters Patricia Trujillo, Jeannette Towse, Cassandra Donovan, her grandchildren Jessica Rivas, William Trujillo, Nicholas Trujillo, Lori Rivas, Ryan Swift, Patrick Trujillo, Madeleine Trujillo, Bailey Towse, Bradley Towse.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nick Griego, her brother Stephen Espinoza, her parents David and Alice Espinoza, her grandparents Jose Martin Espinoza and Guadalupe Martinez, Mariano Baltier Garcia and Maria del Refugio Garcia.
Mass of Christian Burial for both Pam and Nick will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on March 29, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Vidya Sagar Arikotla officiating. Inurnment in the church columbarium will follow the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carpenter Memorial Chapel.
