NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-The West Central District Health Department reported more confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday.

According to WCDHD, 49 new positive cases were returned on Friday. All of those cases are in Lincoln County.

Currently, there are 440 active cases in the WCDHD jurisdiction. Since March, there have been 948 total cases with 11 deaths. Officials say 484 of those cases are considered recovered.
