North Platte, Neb. – The North Platte Community College women's basketball team had three members of their 2021 squad earn All-Region IX honors. Janay Brauer, Kayla Pope, and Diamond Moore-Heath were selected as All-Region IX performers for their successes on the court this season.

"What a great accomplishment for each one of these student-athletes," said head coach Jeff Thurman. "These personal accolades are the culmination of the amount of work Diamond, Kayla and Janay have put in this year and I could not be prouder of these three young women."

Moore-Heath, a freshman from Colorado Springs, Colo., earns her first All-Region IX honor of her career. Moore-Heath finished her first season in a Knights uniform fourth in the nation in offensive rebounds (81) and seventh in total rebounds (208), while totaling nine double-doubles on the season. Pope rounds out her postseason accolades by being named to the First Team All-Nebraska Community College Athletic Association team.

Brauer, a sophomore from Sidney, Neb., was the deep ball threat for the Knights this season.
