
Phyllis Eileen Zeigler, age 77, of North Platte, died June 18, 2022 at Centennial Park Retirement Village. She was born on August 16, 1944 in Sutherland, NE to Robert and Elmina (Anderson) Kuehl.
Phyllis attended school at Big Springs, then moved with her family to Hershey, where she graduated from Hershey High School in 1963. On August 9, 1973, she married Gordon Zeigler. Phyllis worked at the Greyhound/Trailways Bus Station for over 30 years, being manager for over 20.
She enjoyed her gardens, flowers, and house plants. Phyllis spent much time on sewing, and making quilts and rugs. One of her joys was following her grandchildren’s activities, and cooking for her family, especially her homemade noodles.
Survivors include her four children, Christy (Randy) Cauffman, Dixie (Russ) Dahlgren, David Zeigler, and Lee Zeigler, all of North Platte; grandchildren, Erin (Aaron Kelley) Zeigler of North Platte, Megan Dahlgren of Scottsdale, AZ, Joshua Cauffman of North Platte, Daryl Cauffman of North Platte, Makenzie Dahlgren of North Platte, and Andrew Cauffman of North Platte; great grandsons, Cooper Kelley, and Cameron Cauffman; a sister, Marilyn Wilcox of North Platte; and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gordon; a sister Alberta Spencer; and a brother Ervin.

Memorial Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday June 22, 2022 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ryan Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Register book signing will be 12-5 Tuesday June 21, 2022. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
