Larry D. Lashley age, 83, of Culbertson passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022, with daughter Paula and grandchildren present. He was born north of McCook in Red Willow County on July 30, 1938, to Elmer and Hazel (Blake) Lashley.  He attended school and graduated from Republican Valley High School in 1956. In August of 1958, he was united in marriage to Jeniene Weskcamp. She preceded him in death on February 23, 2021. 
Larry served his country in the U. S. Army and was Honorably Discharged. He and Jeniene lived in Colorado Springs where they owned and operated a drywall supply company. In 1997, the couple moved to the farm in Nebraska. Larry enjoyed the farm, raising crops along with a herd of Black Angus cattle. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, and fishing. He and Jeniene loved to go to Vegas, Tahoe, Cripple Creek, Blackhawk, and Reno to partake in the joys of gambling at the casinos.  

He was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer and Hazel; wife: Jeniene; daughter: Renee (Lashley) Bajza sister: Laree Meissner; brothers: Bill and Duane Lashley. 
Larry is survived by his daughter: Paula (Dave) Lashley Koetter; seven grandchildren: Brandon Wheeler, Paula Funk, Joe L. (Kristie) Bajza, Lena Joy Bajza, Griff Matson, Emma Matson, Chase Matson; brother: Randy Lashley; sister: Sandy (Lashley) Morris; son-in-law: Joe J. Bajza. 

Services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel of McCook with Dave Davidson officiating. Interment will be held at the Garden Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 10:00 AM till 6:00 PM with family present from 4:00 Till 6:00 PM to greet friends. Memorials may be addressed in Larry's name to either the Community Hospice or the Anderson Oncology Department of Community Hospital. Friends may leave online condolences at herrmannfh.com.
