NSP promotes Wilcynski to Professional Standards Captain

LINCOLN, Neb.(NSP)— The Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Wilcynski to Captain of the NSP Professional Standards Division. Wilcynski has most recently served as a lieutenant in the NSP Investigative Services Division, stationed in Lincoln.

“Captain Wilcynski has led a distinguished career in multiple areas of State Patrol operations,” said Colonel John Bolduc, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol. “He has been a valuable leader for our agency for years and is well equipped to take on this important position.”

Captain Wilcynski, 49, will now command the Office of Professional Standards, based in Lincoln. The Office of Professionals Standards includes Internal Affairs, Executive Protection, Policy and Accreditation, Legal, and Information Governance. Captain Wilcynski will also serve as the agency’s Legislative Liaison.

“As a statewide division of the Nebraska State Patrol, the Professional Standards Division offers the opportunity to work with troopers throughout the state.” said Captain Wilcynski. “I look forward to supporting our troopers and serving Nebraskans in this critical position.”

Wilcynski joined NSP in 1995, beginning his career stationed in Ainsworth in the NSP Patrol Division. Wilcynski has also served in the Investigative Services Division and SWAT.
