Longtime Wauneta, Nebraska resident, Charles "Eddie" Nichols, passed Sunday morning, May 28, 2023 at the Wauneta Care & Therapy Center of Wauneta, Nebraska. He was 90 years of age. Eddie was born on February 23, 1933.
Survivors include his wife, Donna, of Wauneta, NE; sons, Kelly Nichols (Tawnia) of Max, NE, Terry Nichols (Cindy) of Ogallala, NE, and Mike Nichols of Wauneta, NE; five grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. MST at the United Methodist Church of Wauneta, NE with Rev. Janie Freeland and Rev. Gary Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta, NE.
Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. MST at Liewer Funeral Home of Wauneta, NE.
