NORTH PLATTE, NEB – The Third Annual Keith County Big Give event has finally concluded its two weeklong fundraisers on June 15th. The Keith County Big Give had 39 different nonprofits all as a part of the two weeklong event. The idea behind the Keith County Big Give is where everyone in Keith County could come together and donate to different nonprofits to help make the county a better place to live, work, and play.
The event started on June 1st and ended on June 15th. There were in total 748 donations that were made and these donations raised $256, 475.93. The nonprofit organization that received the most funds is the Paxton Volunteer Fire and Rescue via Village of Paxton that raised $15,672.00. Finishing behind Paxton Volunteer Fire and Rescue was the Ogallala Community Hospital and Health Foundation which raised $14,085.00. The event was a huge success.
