Charlotte Ann 'Chucky' Zogg, age 65, of Grand Island, Nebraska, formerly of North Platte, Nebraska, died at the Emerald Lakeview Rehab and Nursing Center in Grand Island on May 3, 2021.
Charlotte was born in Cozad, Nebraska on December 7, 1955, to Fred, Sr. and Lena (Earll) Zogg. She grew up in North Platte where she attended public schools then began working. Charlotte did housekeeping and babysat for the family until she moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she continued working in housekeeping. While there Charlotte met her soul mate, Cliff Like, and the two were together for 28 years until he passed away. After his death, Charlotte returned to North Platte to be closer to her family, she especially loved her nieces and nephews.
Chucky enjoyed doing crafts and art and going "junkin". She also
studied with Jehovah Witnesses and enjoyed talking with everyone.
Along with her soul mate, Cliff, Chucky was preceded in death by her
parents, Fred and Lena Zogg; her best friend, Pauline 'Bubbles' Zogg;
and nephews, Fredrick and Jeremiah.
She is survived by her sisters, Melody (Cesar) Lucero, Angel Houck and
Lesa DeCent (Marv Schildhauer), and brother, Fred, Jr. (Terry) Zogg, all
of North Platte, Nebraska; her foster daughter, Amanda, of Omaha, Nebraska; 20 nieces and nephews; 46 great-nieces and nephews; and many other family members.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 7 th & 8th, 2021 at Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore in North Platte, Nebraska, which is in charge of arrangements. Cremation will follow the visitation and graveside service will be at a later date at the Maywood Cemetery in Maywood, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the family.
