A wet week is on the way to the Lincoln County area, the National Weather Service in North Platte is predicting.
There is a slight chance of rain beginning in the early morning hours Tuesday, increasing to 40 percent in the afternoon and into Wednesday morning.
After a partly cloudy Thursday, there is another 60 percent chance of rain Thursday night into Friday. Skies are expected to clear by Friday night and through the weekend.
High temperatures will be in the mid-50s Tuesday, lower-60s Wednesday and mid-70s on Thursday.
