NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-Patrons and businesses have had to be very adaptive in Downtown North Platte as the beautification project rolls on, but a big step will be taken Friday.
City of North Platte officials report that Dewey Street, between 4th and 6th Streets, will reopen for traffic on Friday.
Officials say work will continue on lighting, furniture, landscaping, and more in the near future.
The City Engineering Department thanked residents for their patience during the project.
