Lincoln County Commissioners to Consider Administrative Subdivision at Monday Meeting

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, June 29, at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Room at the Lincoln County Courthouse.

Commissioners are scheduled to begin the meeting with a prayer before considering approval of the June 22 meeting minutes, hearing public comment and reviewing claims and the treasurer's receipts.

The board will then recess and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization at 9:15 a.m.

During the Board of Equalization meeting, members will consider approval of the June 22 meeting minutes, hear public comment and review certificates of correction and refund submitted by the Lincoln County Assessor.

After reconvening as the Board of Commissioners, the board is scheduled to consider an application at 9:30 a.m. for the proposed Echo School Administrative Subdivision.

The application, submitted by Kimberly Merrit, Sara Boyer and Ryan Shockley, involves property located in an A-1 Agricultural District described as part of Government Lot 1, Section 1, Township 10 North, Range 30 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Lincoln County.

Commissioners may also enter into closed session, if necessary, to discuss pending or imminent litigation, real estate purchases, security matters or personnel evaluations as allowed by Nebraska law.

The meeting will conclude with concerns from elected officials and department heads, followed by committee reports from the county commissioners.
