Bryan Jacob Melstrom, age 28,of Dalton, Nebraska, formally of North Platte, Nebraska died November 18, 2020, in Kellogg, Iowa as a result of a semi-truck accident. Bryan was born on July 22, 1992, in North Platte, to Chris Amaya and Gregory Allen Melstrom.
He graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 2011, went to the Job Corp in Wichita, Kansas, then moved to Lincoln, NE. Bryan married Tiffany Bingham on April 5, 2013 in North Platte. They lived in North Platte until moving to Dalton in July 2020, where Bryan was working for K & B Trucking. He will always be remembered as a family man, always had a happy attitude, regardless of the situation, loved music, collecting knives and the Denver Broncos. His favorite holidays were Halloween and the 4th of July, blowing up things.
Survivors include his wife, Tiffany; children; Zowie, Xavier and Tarrence, all of Dalton, NE; mother, Chris (Mike Jones) Amaya, North Platte, NE; brothers, Christian Amaya of Westminster, Colorado, Juan Barnhill and Roberto Barnhill of North Platte, NE; step family, Nathan Drake and Mary Drake; Grandparents; Elizabeth Harbick of North Platte, Darrell (Jayne) Melstrom of Kansas, and Raymond (Bobbi) Amaya of Florida.
He was preceded in death by 3 infants; grandparents John Harbick, Penny Melstrom, Terry Scoville, Duane and Wanda Jess, and Lily and Darrell Yonker; and mother-in-law, Kelly Hulscher.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte, NE with the Reverend Dave Cummings officiating. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home of North Platte is in charge of arrangements.
