Brenda C. Robinson, 84, of North Platte, NE passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2022 surrounded by her family at her home near Lake Maloney.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be celebrated June 4, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Lake Maloney Golf Club. Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Fur the Love of PAWS animal rescue.
Brenda was born on September 7, 1938 in Hastings, NE the daughter of Delbert and Anna Mae (Shields) Kottwitz. She graduated from high school in Grand Island and then moved to North Platte where she has resided ever since. She married Arvin Cropp and together had three children. This marriage later ended and she then met and married Jim Robinson. Brenda worked for several North Platte area attorneys as a paralegal and legal secretary from the 1960’s until her retirement in 2010. She was a member of the Eagles, Elks, and American Legion auxiliary clubs, and enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was a past president of the Women’s Golf Association at Lake Maloney Golf Club.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Barbara Miller-Gailey and spouse Jane Gailey of St. Augustine, FL; son, Mark Cropp of North Platte; grandson, Chace Gailey; sister, Jean Hecht of Denver, CO; and nephew, Christopher Hecht and spouse Janine.
She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Arvin; husband, Jim; and infant daughter, Debra Jean.
