Debra Ilene Wiezorek, age 68, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away on October 22, 2020 at home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 4, 1952 in North Platte, Nebraska to Clifford and Alberta McCarty and grew up in North Platte, where they made their home.
Debra was united in marriage to Jim Wiezorek on November 28, 1969 in North Platte, Nebraska, where they made their home and celebrated almost 51 years of marriage.
She was a member of the coast Guard Auxiliary with her husband for 5 years. Debra enjoyed going to bingo and playing slot machines.
Debra is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Kenna (Steve) Smith, Mark Wiezorek (Kim Cotton), and Paul (Nikki) Wiezorek; and her beloved grandchildren Megan, Lyndsey and Emily Spurgin, Kelsey and Kaylee Smith, and Sam and Dylan Wiezorek.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister Delores Herold; brother Clifford "Gene" McCarty; grandson Daniel Wiezorek; and a granddaughter Alexis "Lexi" Wiezorek.
A memorial has been established in Debra's name to be designated at a later date.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving guests from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, 1616 West B Street in North Platte, Nebraska.
