The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will consider a request from the Agricultural Society of Lincoln County to amend its 2026 levy allocation when commissioners meet Monday, Oct. 5.
The commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Room at the Lincoln County Courthouse. The Lincoln County Board of Equalization is scheduled to meet at 9:15 a.m.
The commissioners' meeting will begin with approval of the minutes from the Sept. 28 meeting, followed by a public comment period.
Commissioners are also scheduled to consider claims and treasurer's receipts, receive and file the Lincoln County Sheriff's fee report and an amended August fee report from the Register of Deeds.
The board will also consider a right-of-way permit application submitted by Dawson Public Power District.
At 9:15 a.m., commissioners will recess and convene as the Board of Equalization. That board will consider minutes from its Sept. 28 meeting, take public comment and consider certificates of correction and refund submitted by the County Assessor. Commissioners will also consider Valuation Change Notice No. 2026-039.
The Board of Equalization will then recess or adjourn and commissioners will reconvene as the Board of Commissioners.
At 9:30 a.m., commissioners are scheduled to discuss and consider Resolution No. 2026-32, a request from the Agricultural Society of Lincoln County to amend its 2026 levy allocation request.
The agenda also includes the possibility of a closed session to discuss strategy related to pending or imminent litigation, a real estate purchase, deployment of security personnel or devices, or evaluation of job performance if necessary.
The meeting will conclude with concerns from elected officials, department heads or their representatives, followed by the Lincoln County Commissioners Committee Report.
