Mark White peacefully passed away at home in Sutherland on November 5, 2021, at the age of 59.
Mark was born to Darrel and Margaret White in North Platte on June 6, 1962. He grew up in Sutherland where he graduated from high school with the Class of 1981. After graduation, he continued farming the family farm, later partnering with his brother, Mitch.
Mark farmed all his life and was a longtime grain cart driver and member of 4-H. He loved what he did! Mark enjoyed helping his brothers farm and ranch and helping his nieces and nephew with their 4-H activities. He was a member of the Sutherland Beefmakers and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mark had a heart of gold and never knew a stranger. He also had a great memory and knew everyone by name. Mark looked forward to visiting friends in South Carolina and having Sunday breakfast with his good friend, Larry. He loved grilling raw hamburgers and eating chocolate chip cookies.
Mark loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a great son who took great care of his parents and a wonderful brother and uncle who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Scotty, and brother-in-law, John Thomas Brown.
Mark is survived by his parents, Darrel and Margaret White, of Sutherland; siblings, Christy (Bruce) Schmitz, Tammy Brown, Mitch (Tammy) White, all of Sutherland, and Tony (Amanda) White, of Paxton; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Jeremy) Pierce, Scott Schmitz, Lindsay (Kevin) Hazaert, Chelsea Brown, Erin (Kellen) Walker, Jordan (Laura) Brown, Mackenzie White, Sydney White and Jayden White; great-nieces and nephews, Tessa, Brady, Jax, Elliot, Harper and Cooper; his good friend, Larry Bland, of Sutherland; and many other family and friends.
