North Platte Man Sentenced After DUI Crash Causes Serious Injuries

A North Platte man has been sentenced to probation after driving under the influence and causing serious bodily injury in a rollover crash.

Christopher E. Natividad, 40, was sentenced to one year of probation following the April 9 crash.

According to court records, police were dispatched to the scene of a rollover accident and found Natividad and three juveniles at the location.

One of the juvenile passengers was transported to a hospital in Omaha with serious injuries, including a fractured vertebra, a crushed vertebra, and a broken nose.

Natividad’s blood alcohol content was measured at 0.12. The legal limit in Nebraska is 0.08.

As part of his sentence, Natividad’s driver’s license is suspended for five years, and his vehicle must be equipped with an ignition interlock device.
