NORFOLK, Neb. — The North Platte Bulldogs battled through a rare disruption Tuesday, overcoming a power outage and Norfolk’s defense to win 6-3 in District A-2 baseball action.
A car accident knocked out power to over 4,000 people in Norfolk late in the afternoon, including the ballpark, causing a brief delay. Despite the outage, the game went on, and the Dawgs delivered a strong performance to move on in the district tournament. North Platte will face Papillion-LaVista South this afternoon at 4 p.m.
Fans can catch the action live on the WB’s Fun Center Livestream at 4:30 p.m. on NorthPlattePost.com or listen locally on FM 98.1.
