
Beverly Ann (Williams) Zahl, age 72, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away on May 5, 2021 at her home. She was born on November 11, 1948 to Lloyd and Julia (Borszich) Williams in Valentine, Nebraska.
Bev grew up in Crookston, Nebraska and attended Valentine High School until her junior year. She then went to Lincoln Northeast High School and graduated in 1967. After graduating, she moved back to Valentine where she began her career in dental assisting. Bev retired in 2015 after working 45+ years. She loved her job, co-workers and patients.
On November 26, 1971, in Crookston, Nebraska, Bev married the love of her life, John Zahl. They lived out on the ranch in Woodlake, Nebraska until they moved to North Platte in 1972. To this union, two children were born: Justin and Julie.
Bev was truly one in a million. She loved everybody and didn't think of anyone as a stranger. She was a spunky woman who was always down to dance. Her smile was contagious and she loved spending time with her family. Bev put a lot of love into her cooking and everyone would say that she's the best cook. She welcomed anyone into her home. When you would see Bev out and about, she would always be with her sister, Connie, who was her best friend. They were two peas in a pod. Bev was proud of her three grandchildren, Annah, Jace and Cloe, and loved to spend time with them.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Williams and Julia & Gordon Holbrook; two sisters, Carol Schwanz and Jean Bagwell; a brother, Sunny Williams; her niece, Carla Schwanz; mother-in-law, Vera Zahl; and father-in-law, John Zahl.
Bev is survived by her husband, John Zahl; son Justin Zahl of North Platte, Nebraska; daughter, Julie (Chad) Wareham of Hershey, Nebraska; grandchildren Jace Zahl and Annah & Cloe Wareham; her sister, Connie (John) Schaefer of North Platte, Nebraska; brother, Donald Holbrook of Lacey, Washington; sisters-in-law, Charlene Roth of Richmond, Texas and Ginger Zahl of Axtel, Nebraska many special nieces and nephews, and numerous other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery with Pastor Willie Roberts officiating. A meal will be served at the Moose Lodge following the graveside services.
Those wishing to sign the guest book may do so from noon to r:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, 2021, with the family present from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte, which is in charge of arrangements.
