Jennifer Lynn Kovanda, 37, of North Platte, formerly of Maxwell, passed away at her grandmother June’s house in Maxwell on December 23, 2021.  She was born December 3, 1984 to Mike and Betty (Janeski) Kovanda in North Platte.

She grew up in Maxwell, raised by her mother, Betty and David Tolle.  Jennifer attended school in Maxwell and at North Platte High School.  She worked at Sands Restaurant, Linden Court, Golden Dragon Chinese, Masonite, and most recently The Good Life restaurant.  Jennifer enjoyed fishing and country music.  She had a big heart, always wanting to take care of others, especially the elderly.  Jennifer had a big smile and big mouth to match.  Her first priority in her life were her children.

Jennifer is survived by her mother, Betty (David) Tolle, Maxwell, Nebraska; father, Mike (Madge) Kovanda, Missouri; grandmother, June Tolle, Maxwell, Nebraska; Mary (Sonny) Simants, North Platte; 6 children: Angelina Marie (Johnathon Kidd) Sanchez, Montrose, Colorado, Xavier Mark Sanchez, North Platte, Nebraska,  Nevaeh June Sanchez, Montrose, Colorado, Korbyn DeVaney, Kamryn DeVaney and Kayden DeVaney, Hastings, Nebraska; 2 brothers, Donovan Tolle, Maxwell, Nebraska and Preston Kovanda, Missouri; 1 sister, Nikki Fitch, Lincoln, Nebraska; nieces, Brynlee Sommer, Arapahoe, Nebraska, Sabrina Howell, North Platte, Nebraska; nephews, Hunter Tolle, Arapahoe, Nebraska and Carson Harmon, Arapahoe, Nebraska; fiancé  Jason Vedder, North Platte, Nebraska; along with other family members and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bev (Milton) Fitch, Don Tolle, Rodney Kovanda, and Dean Janeski. 
Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 8, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Maxwell, Nebraska with Pastor Tim Lyzenga officiating.  Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery south of Maxwell.  Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
