
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Room at the Lincoln County Courthouse. The meeting will also be available to watch live on the County’s YouTube channel.
The Board will convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization at 9:15 a.m. to handle tax and property matters. Both boards may adjust the order of agenda items or enter closed session if necessary.
During the meeting, commissioners will review county finances, including claims, treasurer receipts, and fee reports from the Clerk of District Court, County Clerk, County Sheriff, and Register of Deeds. The Board of Equalization will consider certificates of correction, refund requests, and adopt the 2025 tax levies for all political subdivisions in Lincoln County.
A public hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on a secondary catering license for DEAM LLC, doing business as Axes and Aces, located at 675 E North Lake Road in North Platte. The Board will make a recommendation to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission.
Other items on the agenda include a review of the Manning Ranch First Administrative Subdivision on South Miller School Road, zoning enforcement at 6129 N Washboard Road, and a discussion on controlling black-tailed prairie dogs on property in Sections 11 and 14, Township 16N. Commissioners will also discuss supporting Operation Green Light for Veterans, which runs November 4–11, and encouraging residents to back the County Bridge Match Program through a press release and letter to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
