The North Platte Water Department will conduct a five-day preventative maintenance chlorination period throughout the city beginning Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2, 2026.

Residents with sensitivities to chlorine, as well as those with animals sensitive to chlorine, are encouraged to take appropriate precautions during the maintenance period.

Residents can also sign up for future city notifications by email, text message or both at northplattene.gov/notify.
