
John Dee Miller, age 72, of Trenton, passed away at the Bryan Medical Center West, of Lincoln, NE, on August 30, 2021. He was born in McCook, NE, on January 24, 1949, to Kenneth and Mildred (Warrick) Miller. John attended and graduated from Trenton High School in 1968.
John served his country in the United States Air Force from October 1971 to November 1973. He was Honorably Discharged from the United States Air Force on November 14, 1973. John returned to Trenton where he resided until the time of his death.
John was an avid reader of newspapers and books, and also enjoyed watching sports, especially Nebraska Husker football. He belonged to the Congregational Church in his younger years. John enjoyed walking to the Trails West, where he would spend time visiting with each of you that came for coffee, catching up on the latest Trenton news. The family would like to thank David Anderson and Cathy Upton for all the care and companionship through the years shown to John.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mildred; a sister, Dixie Lee Dallam.
John is survived by his brother, C. Keith and wife, Sandy Miller, of Omaha, NE; nephews: Scott and wife, Angie Miller, Randy Dallam; nieces: Sandy and husband, Jody Grigg, Sherrie and husband, Fred Burke; along with other relatives and friends.
A graveside Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Trenton Cemetery with Johnny Walker officiating. Military Honors will be held at the graveside by the American Legion of Trenton along with the Air Force Honor Guard. Memorials may be left to the Trenton Ambulance Squad.
