Pamela S. (Doherty) Sellers, 72, of North Platte, NE passed away on January 21, 2022 at Great Plains Health Hospital.
She was born July 20, 1949 in Ogallala, NE, daughter of Jack F. and Dorothy (Beisch) Doherty.
Pamm attended North Platte High School. During high school, Pamm began working as an operator at the telephone company. She married Willie Sellers, and to this union one son was born. They later divorced. Pamm continued her career with the phone company moving to Grand Island, and then to Aurora, CO where she retired from Mountain Bell. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Pamm truly had an open heart and was not one to pass judgement upon meeting anyone. Her door was always open, it never mattered what else she had going on in her own life, when someone needed her, she was there for them. Pamm’s personality was as big as her heart and she never hesitated to say what was on her mind. We lost a special one. Pamm saw the magic in all things. She was a comfort to all and will be missed deeply. Our hearts hold a special place for you. Until we meet again. XOXO
She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Dorothy; a sister, Michelle Perez; and a grandson, Marcus Anthony Sellers December 18, 2007 - April 23, 2008.
She is survived by her three sons, Brenton (Nina) Sellers of Castle Rock, CO, Joshua Sellers of North Platte and Lucas Sellers (Emily Lembke) of North Platte; 7 grandchildren, Khalil Sellers, Aiyanna Sellers, Andre Kelly, Marcus Sellers, Dashawn Strand- Sellers, Jenuin Miller and Oaklin Vohs; sisters, Margie (Bill) Nowak of Lincoln and Peggy (Virgil) Burk of Canon City, CO; brother, Patrick Doherty of North Platte; 6 nephews and 2 nieces.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Pastor Doug Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the North Platte Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26th with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, who has been entrusted with the arrangements.
