
Jesse Leon Lemmer, 45, of Bennington, NE and formerly of North Platte, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at CHI Health Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.
Jesse was born on August 12, 1976 in North Platte, NE the son of Michael W. Lemmer and Carolyn Ann (Veith) Lemmer.
He grew up most of his life in North Platte and attended North Platte High School. Jesse was a certified personal trainer and bodybuilder. For most of his career he worked as an electrician with Knapp Electric. Jesse loved music and was a very gifted musician able to play multiple instruments. He played in several bands over the years and recorded many songs. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish Jesse’s memory are his parents, Michael Lemmer of TX and Carolyn Lemmer of Bennington; maternal grandmother, Vera Veith; daughters, Xaivria and Xariah Lemmer and their mother, Brenda Twidwell; brother, Chris M. Lemmer (Kara) of North Platte; sister, Sarah J. Doherty (Andy) of Bennington; nieces and nephews, Jessalynn, Triniti, Symon, Kenidee and Jasper. Also surviving are his dog "Princess"; a very large extended family; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Doretta and Jess Cain; maternal grandfather, Herman Veith; and a brother, Justin Lemmer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Jeremy Rinke officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28th with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which has been entrusted with the arrangements.
