It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Echlyn Michael Ogier, who left us too soon at the age of 17 on August 15, 2024.
A cherished son, brother, and friend, Echlyn was known for his infectious energy, kind heart, and bright future. Born on May 15, 2007, Echlyn was feisty, hard headed and determined. He loved listening to music, dancing, playing sports and hanging out with friends.
Echlyn is survived by his parents, Amber and Jason Grafford of Minot, ND and Paul and Jami Ogier of Alma, NE; his siblings, Brayten Ogier, Zaxtyn and Kortyn Grafford, and Kaylan and Hendryx Ogier, and numerous other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He is remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the countless moments of joy he shared with those he loved.
A memorial service to celebrate Echlyn's life will be held on Saturday, August 31 at 10:00 am at Draucker Funeral Home with Pastor Wesley Harmon of the New Life Church in Ogallala officiating. Inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory.
