Big Red announce 2025-26 Wrestling schedule

The Nebraska wrestling team will face a tough 2025-26 schedule, featuring 11 of the top 25 finishers from last season’s NCAA Championships. 

The Huskers will start the season on the road, travelling to Annapolis, Md. for the Navy Classic on Nov. 2 before returning home to take on Army at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Nov. 7. 

NU will travel to Tulsa, Okla., for the National Duals Invitational. The invitational will feature 16 teams, slating 11 of the top 12 teams in the final 2025 NCAA standings and will compete for a $200,000 grand prize. The dual will be November 15-16 at the BOK Center.

On Dec. 5, the Huskers will compete at the Journeymen Duals in St. Charles, Mo., before heading back to Lincoln for a home series. NU will host North Carolina on Dec. 19 and Oklahoma St. on Dec. 21. The Big Red will finish non-conference duals at home against Northern Iowa on Jan. 3. 

Conference competition will feature eight duals, four home and four away. Big Ten action starts on the road against Minnesota on Friday, Jan. 16. The following weekend, the Huskers will host Iowa on Friday, Jan. 23 and Ohio State on Sunday, Jan. 25. It will be the first home dual against the Buckeyes since 2020. 

NU will head to University Park, Pa. to face the 2025 National Champion Penn State Nittany Lions on Friday, Jan. 30. The following weekend, the Huskers welcome Purdue on Feb. 6 and Northwestern on Feb. 8. 

The Big Red will close out Big Ten regular-season action on the road against Illinois on Feb. 13 and Indiana on Feb. 15, before traveling Utah to face Utah Valley on Feb. 21 to wrap up the regular season. 

The Big Ten Championships will be hosted by Penn State on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8. The NCAA Championships will be in Cleveland, Ohio starting Thursday, March 19  and going through Saturday, March 21.
