Ricardo Palma Nava, aged 59, entered his eternal home on February 23, 2024. He was born to Raul Palma and Catalina Nava in Mexico City, Mexico on September 20, 1964.
In the early 90’s, Ricardo moved to North Platte where he met Rosalinda Sanchez. The couple had a daughter, Catalina. Ricardo was a handyman and worked as a contractor; he was especially fond of painting. He was heavily involved in his church, Two Rivers, and the various activities they participated in. Faith was number one in his life; he loved to lead others to the Lord and help others in any way that he could. You could often find Ricardo volunteering at the homeless shelter or the Thrift Connection and he also enjoyed bicycling, gardening, and cooking. Ricardo will be remembered for his selfless nature and his giving spirit.
Survivors include his daughter, Catalina Nava (Douglas Chilson); grandkids, Aubriella, Niyahna, Yrelia, Marcelo, and Royal; siblings; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Those that preceded him in death are his parents; grandparents, Ignacio Palma, Guadalupe Martinez, Cruz Nava, and Maria Reyes.

Services will be held on March 5, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with pastor Doug Lee officiating. Burial will be held at North Platte Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 12 PM to 5 PM at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
