North Platte Post
After a mild Monday, the National Weather Service in North Platte is warning of the potential for a wintry mix to arrive Tuesday morning.
The high Monday is expected to be in the mid-50s, with an overnight low dipping below the freezing point. There is a 20 percent chance of freezing rain before 10 a.m. Tuesday, changing to rain as the mercury rises.
The NWS said the freezing rain could lead to slick road conditions, mostly north of Interstate 80.
Another chance of a rain-snow mix is possible beginning Wednesday afternoon and lasting through Wednesday night.
