NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Music students at North Platte Community College are raising money for their upcoming trip to the Nebraska Music Education Association conference with a homemade treat sale running through October 20.
The fundraiser is a partnership between NPCC’s music department and KS & KG of Country Homestead, a local business known for its farm-fresh baked goods. Students are selling a variety of handmade treats, including:
- One dozen cinnamon rolls, pumpkin rolls, or a pumpkin log – $30
- Toffee Crunch Brownies or Cinnamon Streusel Cake – $25
- Homemade fudge in five flavors, including a special NPCC “Knight Life” flavor – $17
Orders can be placed through any NPCC music student, by emailing Lead Music Instructor Kristin Simpson at [email protected], or through the KS & KG Homestead Facebook page (@kskghomestead).
Payment is due at the time of order and can be made via Venmo, Square, or cash. Treats will be available for pickup on Nov. 4.
Proceeds will help offset travel costs for NPCC students attending the statewide music education conference, where they will have the opportunity to perform, network, and learn from professional musicians and educators.
