LEXINGTON, Neb. — A 76-year-old Lexington man has died after crashing his electric bicycle Sunday morning.
According to the Lexington Police Department, first responders were dispatched around 8:20 a.m. to Plum Creek Parkway after receiving a report of a bicycle crash.
When officers arrived, they found the victim, identified as K.C. Chrisman, lying in the street with a serious head injury. Police say Chrisman struck a median while riding his e-bike, causing the bike to flip.
Chrisman was initially transported to Lexington Regional Health Center before being airlifted to CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, where he later died from his injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
