Betty Snyder passed away at Linden Court in North Platte, Nebraska, on October 20, 2022, at the age of 90.
Betty, the daughter of Rollie and Helen Jones, was born July 17, 1932, at Maywood, Nebraska. The family lived in Maywood then moved to North Platte, Nebraska while Betty was still in school.
On July 17, 1950, Betty was united in marriage to Loren Snyder. They made their home in North Platte where they raised their family. When the kids were older, Betty went to work as a janitor at the Lincoln County Courthouse. She worked for over 20 years until retiring.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; her parents, Rollie and Helen Jones; sisters, Ilene Boltz and Norma Knobel; brother, Kenny Jones; and grandson, Patrick Pinkerton.
Survivors include her children, Don Snyder of North Platte, Nebraska, Karen and husband, Bob Koch, of Hershey, Nebraska, Ronda Froseth and friend, Larry Meyer, of Evanston, Wyoming, and Patricia Pinkerton of Garland, Texas; her brothers, Robert Jones of Mason City, Iowa, and Larry Jones of Beatrice, Nebraska; as well as 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren, and other family.
