Powell lost his home, business and vehicle to a fire on June 27th. According to a Facebook post back on June 28th from Stapleton Fire Chief Franklin Kramer, first responders were dispatched to the scene at 6:01 pm and returned to the station at 1:10am. Numerous first responder agencies responded to the fire call to battle the fire or divert traffic while crews worked.

Powell was treated for burns and smoke inhalation. 100% of all proceeds will be going straight to Matthew. Spaghetti Dinner will be a free will donation.
