Carleen M. Spangler, age 91, of Ogallala, Nebraska passed away on June 9, 2021 at Golden Ours Convalescent Home in Grant, Nebraska.
She was born on November 12, 1929 to Carl and Virgie M. (Pinkston) Anderson at Ogallala, Nebraska. She attended several schools at as her family moved frequently, but always returning to Ogallala.
She married Raegene Condreay and moved to a farm in Perkins County, Nebraska. To this union 2 children were born: Timothy and Carla.
On June 27, 1970 she married Wayne. Carleen and Wayne lived in Ogallala, Nebraska.
Carleen worked at TRW for 31 years, retiring in 2001.
She loved to bowl, and spent many years teaching young kids to bowl on Saturday mornings. She was very excited about the vacation to Mexico City and Acupulco with Wayne, and a trip to Sweden with her sister.
Carleen is survived by her loving spouse Wayne, son: Tim Condreay of Kuna, Idaho; daughter Carla (Joey) Anderson of Meridian, Idaho, sisters Elaine Gretchel, and Sharon Frickey both of Ogallala, Nebraska; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Bill Anderson and Larry Anderson; and sisters Delores Bryant and Bonnie Harris .
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, 10:00 am Mountain time at the United Methodist Church, Ogallala, Nebraska with Rev. Chuck Rager officiating.
Internment will take place in the Ogallala Cemetery at a later date.
