The North Platte Community College Knights Volleyball Team swept Southeast Community College in three sets Wednesday night in one of a handful of home games the Knights will have this season.

The scores were 25-14, 25-15 and 25-15. The Knights are now 5-7 on the season.

Taylor Hansen, of Yuma, Colo., led the game with 12 kills. Peyton Negley, of North Platte, added six kills, followed by Kim Krise, of Briggsdale, Colo., with five and Alysen Daniels, of Mullen, with three.

Ruby Valle, of Weldona, Colo., notched 18 digs, and Erica Hopping, of Sutherland, finished with 13 digs.

“This was an important region game for us, and I thought we did a nice job with a balanced attack,” said NPCC head volleyball coach Alexa McCall. “We had some people step in and also do a nice job. We are hoping to carry this momentum into this weekend.”

Next up, the Knights will battle Western Nebraska Community College at 7 p.m. Friday in McCook.
