
Robert “Bob” A. Lee, Jr., 56, of North Platte, NE passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at home.
He was born on March 2, 1966 in Benson, MN the son of Robert D. Lee Sr. and Marie Ann (Wrobleski) Lee.
Bob graduated from North Platte High School in 1984. He worked for the family business Arrowcraft for many years as a construction crew foreman, and during that time was a part time bartender for Kelsey’s Bar and the Platte Bar. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, flower gardening, and tinkering with his antique car. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings football fan. Bob could light up a room whenever he entered, his fun loving and lighthearted personality will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Bob’s memory are his father, Robert Lee, Sr. of North Platte; son, Zach Lee of North Platte; brothers, Brian (Roxanne) Lee, William (Apryl) Lee both of North Platte; sister, Brenda Lee of North Platte; nephews, Bradley Kohl and Austin (Ashlyn) Meyers; nieces, Tenesha Lee and Cheyenne Whelan; former spouse, Terrie Mooney of North Platte; favorite pet dog, “Marley”; and many other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Ann Lee and by a brother, John Lee.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joshua Brown as celebrant. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Hayes Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 7 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 4:30-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 25th, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, with Rosary prayers beginning at 6:30 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carpenter Memorial Chapel.
