HERSHEY, Neb.-The Hershey Public Schools Board of Education has called a bond election to address "urgent facility needs."
The bond issue will be voted on by Hershey residents on August 10. Online registrations must be completed by July 23 HERE. The last day to register in person will be July 30.
The proposed bond issue is $17,900,000 and will be voted all by all registered voters in the Hershey School District.
Dated and undersized facilities are cited as some of the main reasons for the improvements.
Voters will be receiving a bond issue brochure in the mail.
Ballots will be due to the County Election Commissioner by 5 p.m. on August 10.
A public information meeting will be held July 19 and July 20 in the Hershey School gym.
