A North Platte church is preparing for a fall tradition that brings food, games and activities together for an afternoon of family fun.
Holy Spirit Church will hold its 12th annual Fall Festival Sunday, September 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 2801 West E Street.
One of the main attractions will be a traditional roast turkey dinner served family-style. The meal costs $15 for adults and $5 for young children.
For those who would rather take their meal home, the church will also offer drive-thru service in the church parking lot.
The festival will offer more than just lunch. Children can participate in games with prizes, while a silent auction will give attendees a chance to bid on donated items.
A baked goods country store will also be part of the event, offering homemade treats for festival-goers.
Organizers describe the Fall Festival as a family event and are inviting the public to attend.
