NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The North Platte Police Department is investigating the deaths of two North Platte residents who were found inside a home early Sunday morning.
Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2700 block of West 20th Street at approximately 1:21 a.m. on June 28. Upon arrival, officers confirmed two individuals were deceased inside the home.
The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Ashley Navarrete and 35-year-old Johnathan Navarrete.
According to the North Platte Police Department, investigators processed the scene, secured the residence, and obtained a search warrant as part of the ongoing investigation.
Police said the cause and manner of death have not yet been determined. The investigation remains active pending completion of the autopsies and receipt of the final autopsy report.
