Denise Botts, age 70, of Ogallala, Nebraska passed away June 6, 2021, at the Perkins County Hospital in Grant, Nebraska.
Denise was born December 14, 1950, at Providence, Rhode Island. She attended school in the Providence area.
In the mid 90's, Denise moved to Ogallala, Nebraska where she worked at Perkins County Hospital. She came to work as a cashier at Walmart, which was an excellent fit for her gregarious personality. She loved people and seemed to know everyone. Denise loved to spend time on her rose bushes and always had a special place in her heart for her dog, Emmie.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ruth Caldwell, and a sister, Barbara Pickron.
Survivors include her daughter, Robin (Michael) Rasser of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Katie Erickson and Jordan Rasser, both of Denver, CO; companion, Levi Petersen of Ogallala, NE; two sisters Nancy Melton and Missy Starn of Amarillo, TX; along with many other relatives & loving friends.
Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Ogallala, NE with Fr. Bryan Ernest as Celebrant. Interment is in the Ogallala Cemetery in Ogallala, NE.
