
Dallas W. Nichols, age 63, of North Platte, Nebraska died on October 23, 2020 at home with his family by his side. Dallas was born January 14, 1957 in North Platte to John and Sarah (Pebley) Nichols.
Dallas graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1976. He served in the United States Army. After being discharged he worked several different jobs, including Simplot in Hershey, Cash-Wa Distributing and Pawnee Hotel in North Platte. He married Cheryl (Collins) Nichols on February 10, 1986.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl Nichols; son, George (Alishia) Nichols; daughter, Victoria Nichols; mother, Sarah Harold of Cozad, Nebraska; stepmother, Angie Nichols of Grand Island, Nebraska; grandchildren, Isabella Borges, Ezekiel Borges, George Nichols, Clifford Nichols, Olivia Borges all of North Platte, NE; brothers, John Nichols of North Platte, Jodi Nichols of Colorado, Brandon Nichols of Colorado, Matthew Nichols of North Platte; sister, Pam Lazzara of North Carolina; brothers-in-law, Jess (Marcia) Collins, Victor (Tami) Collins, Thomas (Rita) Collins; numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dallas was preceded in death by his father, John Lewis; brother, James Anthony Nichols; grandmothers, “AF” Baker and Violet Pebley; grandparents, Stan and Nellie Woitaszewski.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte with Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, Nebraska. Visitation will be held noon-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. Services will be livestreamed on the Adams & Swanson Facebook page for those unable to attend.
