The 800 block of East Francis Street will be closed beginning Monday, September 14, for utility work associated with Wilkinson Development.
The closure will affect the section of East Francis Street between Poplar Street and Tabor Avenue. The area will be closed to through traffic until the project is complete.
Francis Street will remain accessible to Fresenius Kidney Care from the west.
Drivers will need to use alternate routes while the utility work is underway. Detours will be posted at the intersections of Poplar Street and Francis Street and Tabor Avenue and Francis Street.
Drivers are asked to use caution around the construction area and follow all posted signs for the safety of both motorists and construction workers.
Wilkinson Development thanked the public in advance for its cooperation as the project is completed.
