NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Public registration is now available for Vice President JD Vance’s midterm election rally Thursday, Oct. 22, at the D&N Events Center in North Platte.
The rally is hosted by the Trump 47 Committee and is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Central Time. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
People planning to attend must register online through the official event registration page. The registration form requires a name, email address, mobile phone number, ZIP code and state. The page allows a maximum of four tickets per signup.
After submitting the form, registrants will receive a confirmation text message and must follow the instructions to verify their tickets. Registration is not complete until the phone verification process is finished.
The D&N Events Center is located at 501 East Walker Road in North Platte.
Vance’s visit comes less than two weeks before the Nov. 3 general election. President Donald Trump visited Grand Island on Oct. 5 as Republicans campaign ahead of the midterms.
Nebraska’s closely watched races include the U.S. Senate contest between Republican incumbent Pete Ricketts and independent candidate Dan Osborn.
The official registration page lists the event schedule and ticket signup information. Attendees should complete the verification process before arriving Thursday.
