Women of Achievement Honored at North Platte Luncheon

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (April 24, 2025) — Over twenty area women were honored Thursday at the annual North Platte Women of Achievement Luncheon, held at Venue 304.

The event recognizes local women who have made outstanding contributions in a variety of fields, including business, cultural arts, education, government, medicine, social services, volunteerism and emerging leadership.

This year’s winners from each category included Kayla Jensen, recognized in the Business category; Keri Fisher, Cultural Arts; Niki Ruda, Education; Julie Stenger, Government/Law; Billie Fear, Medical; Jayna Schaaf, Social Services; Sherry Weatherly, Volunteer; and EmmaLee Painter, Up and Coming.

Hosted annually, the Women of Achievement program highlights the impact of women leaders in the North Platte area and celebrates their dedication to community, innovation and service.

Organizers said the event continues to grow each year as more community members nominate women making a difference in their respective fields.
