NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Motorists should plan for a temporary street closure next week as sewer repairs are completed on West "A" Street.
According to the City of North Platte Water Department, Waldinger Plumbing will close West "A" Street between Vine Street and Jeffers Street beginning Tuesday, July 14. The closure is expected to remain in place through Friday, July 17, while crews complete sewer repair work.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes during construction and should use caution when traveling near the work zone. The city is asking motorists to obey all traffic control signs to help keep both workers and the public safe.
The North Platte Water Department thanked residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation as the project is completed.
