It was a great day to get rolling for the North Platte Bulldogs cross country runners and appreciate all the other schools that came and fans to support! Our boys varsity, girls JV, girls varsity, and girls JV, were all able to come home with the victory today! Our motto for the year is, “win the day” and our phrase of the week was “set the tone”. We have a lot to build on as the year progresses, but couldn’t ask for a much better way to kick off the year. Two years ago Zarah Blaesi became North Platte’s first ever girl’s runner to break 20 minutes and today Marrisa Holm joined that accomplishment.  There were lots of runners able to find success today, as we had 29 different runners come away with a medal this week.

It was a great start to the season and next week will will head to Cozad for our second meet of the year on Saturday September 4th.
