Registration is now open for the Kwik Stop Youth Knights Basketball League, giving area boys and girls in third through sixth grades an opportunity to develop their basketball skills, make friends and enjoy playing the game.
The league is offered through the North Platte Recreation Department and is designed to provide young athletes with an opportunity to learn and improve their skills in a team setting.
The program also includes two Mid-Plains Basketball Camps as part of the registration fee. The camps provide an additional opportunity for participants to work on their basketball fundamentals, with dates to be announced.
The Youth Knights League will begin Nov. 14 and continue through Dec. 12. Registration is $50 per player and includes both basketball camps.
The league is open to boys and girls in third through sixth grades. Registration closes Oct. 25.
