NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (Aug. 23, 2025) — Two North Platte men were cited Saturday night after deputies say they fired multiple gunshots from a vehicle on North Airport Road.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched around 10 p.m. after a caller reported hearing several gunshots and seeing a vehicle whose occupants appeared to be shooting randomly. Authorities said no homes or property were targeted.

North Platte police located the vehicle in the city and detained the occupants until deputies arrived.

Following an investigation, 32-year-old Jacob Pyzer and 23-year-old Ezeikial Florea, both of North Platte, were cited for discharge of a firearm from a highway, possession of an open alcohol container in a vehicle, and disturbing the peace.

No injuries were reported.
