North Platte Comm. College automotive graduates are ASE certified

North Platte Community College’s second-year automotive graduates have been entry-level certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

ASE Entry-Level Certification tests indicate an individual’s knowledge-based readiness for the workforce and are the first step in building career credentials as an automotive service professional.

Students were tested for and received certifications in the following areas:

  1. Automatic Transmission/Transaxle
  2. Automobile Service Technology
  3. Brakes
  4. Electrical/Electronic Systems
  5. Engine Performance
  6. Engine Repair
  7. Heating and Air Conditioning
  8. Maintenance and Light Repair
  9. Manual Drive Train and Axles
  10. Suspension and Steering
